We are committed to serving ethically produced and wherever possible, locally sourced food, which is within it's season. All chicken and eggs are free range, we know the provenance of all the meat that we use and the sustainability of the fish. We are extremely fortunate to live in an area that has not only excellent local produce but also excellent suppliers, amongst these are Higginson's, award winning butchers from Grange.
The menu and service at lunchtime is less formal than dinner. It isn't necessary to make a booking and food is ordered at the bar. We have a wide range of food, examples of which can be seen in the menu on the left.
Revervations are taken for dinner and the menu and service is more formal than lunchtime. Dinner is served on plain oak tables, with white linen napkins and Robert Welch cutlery. The bread that is served with dinner is made in the kitchen that afternoon and is quite simply delicious.
